Weekend instructed sailing sessions for Junior Sailors at Poolbeg Yacht and Boat Club from 10:30-12:30 or 13:00-15:00 on on al 4 Sundays in June 2026.
With our sailing area based right in the heart of Dublin's City Centre, our courses provide a unique experience of the city as well as a fantastic safe space to improve your sailing skills. Aiding the Irish Sailing Small Boat Scheme these sessions will allow you to master skills and improve the skills learned on our Summer sailing courses. Theses sessions are perfect if you need just that little bit of extra experience before moving to the next level.
These sessions cater for children aged 7 -17 and are given by our Irish Sailing/RYA qualified and experienced instructors. With our course numbers limited to small groups you can be sure that your child gets the full benefit of their instructor's guidance as well as getting to know the other sailors in their group.
For ages 7-17
Wetsuits are NOT provided but we do provide buoyancy aids for each participant.
Participants must arrive in their wetsuits. On-site changing rooms allow participants to get changed after the session.
The courses will operate within public health measures at all times.
If the weather is such that we cannot get afloat, we will let you know as early as possible. In this case our instructors have plenty of on land or on board activities planned! Ranging from the educational to just downright fun!
The places on each course are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
