Adventure Day Sailing

Adventure Day Sailing is Poolbeg Yacht and Boat Clubs – Discover Sailing course for adults. If racing is not your thing, this is the course for you. You will plan your passage and navigate to your chosen destination under a Irish Sailing accredited instructor. The objective of this course is introduce the skills and knowledge needed to undertake day trips in stronger winds. The course syllabus is covered in 5 x 3.5 hour lessons which are run over one evening and a weekend. This is an advanced course and participants need to have a achieved Learn To Sail 3 – Improving Skills standard in either dinghies or keelboats. You will prepare passage planning and navigation around Dublin bay. On your Adventure Day Sailing trip you might sail to Skerries, Malahide, Ireland’s Eye, Lambay Island or Dun Laoghaire weather permitting.
